Artifact: ITEC 7305 Unstructured Field Experience Log
Reflection:
This artifact "ITEC 7305 Field Experience Log" demonstrates my engagement in appropriate field experiences. This artifact illustrates my ability to work with the administration staff and offer real professional development tools to the staff at my school. The OneNote Notebook created for this artifact shows how I effectively modeled and facilitated technology-enhanced learning experiences.
This article clearly displays mastery of the Field Experience element under the Candidate Professional Growth and Development Standard. Through this field experience I was able to collaborate with administration, teachers and various staff members to create a robust teacher development tool. This artifact was created to be a resource and training tool for teachers new to the school. The artifact represents a culmination of my professional knowledge, skills, and dispositions to create a comprehensive set of training materials that addresses a variety of standards.
This artifact is a culmination of all of the knowledge and skills gained from the program into one field experience. If I could change anything in this artifact, I would have worked more closely with all staff members to make the materials more inclusive. Bringing in more stakeholders would have created a document that utilized the knowledge and skills of all staff members and not just my own. The administration was pleased with the final document, and the field experience was a success, but more could have done. Including more stakeholders would have further enhanced the experienced and created more buy-in amoung the staff.
The impact of this artifact along with all of my field experience logs can be seen in school improvement and faculty development. The impact of this artifact can be assessed in every aspect of my professional development including increased reflections of professional developments, improved teacher evaluations and increased EOC and SLO scores.
